ABOUT US
Mennonite Creation Care Network (MCCN) is a bi-national
Christian organization affiliated with the Mennonite
Church USA and the Mennonite
Church Canada. Our focus is the Mennonite “household”—its
congregations, schools, agencies, workplaces and of course individual
homes—but we welcome anyone who wishes to be part of a faith-based
network of people engaged in caring for creation.

GOALS
MCCN encourages the Church to:
• Claim its biblical
and theological foundation regarding the care of God’s Creation.
• Discover the ties that link all created beings to each other and
to God.
• Confess the harm we have caused the natural
world and our neighbors.
• Act faithfully to restore the earth.

WHY A NETWORK?
We recognize that many people are already engaged in the
work of caring for creation or would like to be. A network
seemed like the best way to support and encourage this work,
by:
- engaging people with their peers;
- bringing experience to a community on a large
scale;
- sharing resources and tools based on needs
and requests;
- documenting lessons learned and best practices;
and
- facilitating partnerships.
"The biblical concept of peace
embraces personal peace with God
peace in human relations, peace among nations
and peace with God's creation."
