This seven-session curriculum for congregations explores the relationship between food and Christian faith in four key areas: the health of the body, the health of the earth, the challenge of hunger and the communal aspects of eating. Using scripture, prayer and stories from the local and global community, the curriculum encourages healthful eating that extends beyond our table to the world so that we do not “just eat” but “eat justly.” This curriculum was written in collaboration with the Presbyterian Hunger Program, Advocate Health Care and Church World Service. A middle school version and Hispanic version of Just Eating is also available.
