In 2007, Loren Swartzendruber, president of Eastern Mennonite University, delivered a sermon on climate change titled “Creation Care from an Anabaptist Perspective.” British Boradcasting Corporation (BBC) filmed the presentation and interviewed Swartzendruber for a production on Christian response to global warming.
In his compelling sermon, Swartendruber addresses questions such as “So, what about global warming? What are the facts and are they indisputable? Is it for real, and if so, what will be the consequences?”
“We may be a small part of this grand cosmic story, but we cannot forsake hope and personal responsibility,” says Swartendruber.
