Interfaith Coalition on Emery began as a non-profit organization in the 1980’s and is based in the religious communities in Philadelphia, PA. ICE focuses on congregations and how to efficiently green each building. ICE has analyzed hundreds of congregations since its creation, offering assistance on how to reduce energy. ICE offers a newsletter which may be downloaded from their website if Adobe 4.0 or higher is available. Newsletters provide short articles on topics ranging from window replacement to refrigerators to tankless water heaters. Poetry by William Blake and other thoughtful quotes are speckled within each issue.
