Twenty years ago, the concept of “creation care” was unfamiliar to many churchgoers and mentioning climate change was edgy. Today, there are over 20 organizations related to the Mennonite Church USA that are tending the planet in various ways, from teaching regenerative agriculture to advocating for the environment through investment practices.

In late February 2021, Mennonite Creation Care Network and the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions are hosting an online gathering of representatives from a number of groups. The goal is to come away with snapshots of what everyone is working on in order support each other in the future and enable collaboration where productive. We covet your prayers.

One modest goal MCCN hopes to accomplish based on this meeting is to update the organization tab on its website. We hope to catalog what Mennonite organizations are doing so that readers can find the work they are interested in.
