Willow Avenue Mennonite Church, Clovis, Ca., was planning a special event for the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. They hoped to create a series of stations in their sanctuary, each anchored by a plant. Community members would be invited in to reflect at each station, just as Christians in some traditions use stations of the cross to reflect during Holy Week.
Alas COVID-19 intervened.
The good news is that we can all benefit from the online version they created instead. Pray in the company of a prayer plant, philodendron, cinnamon fern and other reliable guides.
